Linda Bradford Rashke is known as the author of many articles, the book “Wall Street Virtuosos” and, most importantly, as a practicing entrepreneur with 33 years of experience. For more than three decades she has worked on the Pacific Stock Exchange and philadelphia stock exchange, has done well in trading through zuotron and – not without difficulty – to master modern trading programs. Career Journey
As a hereditary entrepreneur, Linda Raschke inherited her father’s interest in listings and economic fluctuations. The eldest of four children, she was the most serious and attentive. Demonstrating considerable ability to analyse numerical and graphic models, it easily interpreted the technical data.
Another round in professional development was participation in a student program in which Linda Raschke and her colleagues traded on a small real account. As a result of training, she decided to become a future profession. However, getting a job at a brokerage firm without real experience was not easy. After receiving several rejections from employers, Linda went for a small distribution within walking distance of the Pacific Stock Exchange.
Every morning before the start of the working day Linda Raschke spent an hour in the room, asking questions and examining the intricacies of the process. The inquisitive girl was quickly noticed: an experienced entrepreneur decided to give her a chance to start a career and acclimatated her with $25,000 in capital. Three months later, she increased the amount of assets in her account by 100%.
Ups and Downs
At the beginning of her time as a trader Linda Raschke followed a simple strategy by today’s standards: search for and purchase undervalued shares, as well as sell overvalued shares. This method was justified within a few months, but at some point it failed and led to the loss of the entire deposit. Such a failure was a real blow to the young speculator, who continued to repay the education loan and owed the bank more than $10,000. However, relatively quickly he reached out to a new investor, received $30,000 management and improved its approach to trade. Another serious injury was that Linda Rushka had to move her commercial operations to her home. In the beginning, zuotron, an extremely minimalist citation display system, was abandoned. Attempts to master more complex electronic devices terminals were not immediately successful and led to new large-scale losses. But after a few months, Mr Rashke mastered new analytical tools. Trying different methods, she initially preferred to open positions on the market, but soon followed the trend. As Linda Raschke herself points out, this approach has developed since she began to manage investors’ capital.
